French President Francois Hollande will attend the Armenian Genocide centennial commemoration in Yerevan on April 24, official representative of the French Foreign Ministry Romen Nadal has confirmed, RIA Novosti reports.
“The President will visit Yerevan on April 24 to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims,” Nadal told a briefing on Wednesday.
According to him, a number of commemorative events will be organized across France by historical, cultural associations and local authorities.
