On the threshold of the Armenian Genocide centennial, unknown people have desecrated an Armenian cross-stone in Alicante, Spain, the Ministry of Diaspora reports.
The local Armenian community has applied to the municipal authorities with a request to renovate the cross-stone, find the criminals and hold them accountable.
The authorities are taking measures to ensure security during all events the Armenian community organizes in April and to ensure that the cross-stone is not damaged in the future.
