The Azerbaijani side undertook a fresh infiltration attempt in the southern direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan at 04:40 a.m. today, Press Service of the NKR Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The rival used anti-personnel mine systems, the Ministry said.
As a result of skilled actions of the Armenian border guards, the enemy was forced to retreat, incurring losses.
Probe into the details of the case is under way. The Defense Army has suffered no losses.
