France will participate in the events commemorating the Armenian Genocide centennial in Yerevan at the presidential level, French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier told reporters today.
French President Francois Hollande will arrive in Armenia with a 100-120-member delegation, the Ambassador said.
According to Jean-Francois Charpentier, “the President’s participation in the commemoration events will be a call for remembrance, tribute to the memory of the victims and responsibility in order to prevent the reoccurrence of such crimes in the future.”
