People’s Artist of Armenia Karen Janibekyan, 77, passed away over the weekend after a long illness.
Karen Janibekyan was born in Yerevan on July 1, 1937. He worked at the Armenian Drama Theatre of Tbilisi in 19666-1967.
Since 1967 he played at the Yerevan National Academic Theatre after Sundukyan and starred in over 50 films.
Karen Janibekyan was a recipient of a number of awards.
