Private of the NKR Defense Army Arsen Karapetyan, born in 1995, was killed as a result of shooting from the Azerbaijani side, the NKR Defense Ministry informed.
The Ministry said it shares the sorrow of the heavy loss and extends condolences to Arsen Karapetyan’s family and friends.
According to the data of the NKR Defense Army, about 200 cases of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side were registered at the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan last night.
The rival fired more than 3,000 shots from weapons of different caliber in the direction of the Armenian positions.
The front troops of the Defense Army undertook relevant measures to pressure the activeness of the rival. They keep the operational-tactical situation all along the line of contact under control.
