The Iraqi Airways will carry out the first ever Baghdad-Yerevan-Erbil flight today, Press Secretary of the General Department of Civil Aviation Ruben Grdzelyan informs.
The regular flights will be carried out twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays by CRJ900 and Boeing 737 planes.
Members of the Iraqi government and heads of 50 tourism companies will arrive in Armenia on the first flight.
The Iraqi Airways belongs to the government of Iraq and is represented in Armenia by Avia-Service Company.
