At least eight people have been killed in a shooting in the eastern Czech Republic town of Uhersky Brod, local reports and officials say, the BBC reports.
An armed man burst into a restaurant, opening fire, according to Czech state television.
The condition of the gunman is unconfirmed, but one police spokesman quoted on the TV report said the suspect had “already been subdued”.
Some 20 people were thought to have been in the restaurant at the time.
