Every major Las Vegas Strip casino-hotel and several off-Strip and downtown properties went dark for three minutes at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in honor of the beloved former UNLV coach, Jerry Tarkanian, who passed away last week, Asbarez reports.
Reportedly, the timing coincided with the end of University of Nevada at Las Vegas first basketball game since Tarkanian’s death.
A private funeral was held Monday for Tarkanian, with services being held at Our Lady of Las Vegas church.
