Armenian soldier Shekspir Hakobyan, born in 1990, was killed at about 4:15 today as a result of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side in the eastern direction of the line of contact, Press Service of the NKR Defense Army reports.
The Ministry said the rival maintained intensive firing last night and throughout the day.
The front divisions of the NKR Defense Army took relevant measures to pressure the activeness of the rival. Casualties on the Azerbaijani side are reported. Probe into the details is under way.
The NKR Defense Ministry shares the sorrow of this heavy loss and expresses its support to Shekspir Hakobyan’s family and friends.
