Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has applied to his Russian counterpart with a mediation to transfer the criminal proceedings of the case of murder in Gyumri on January 12 to the law-enforcement bodies of the Republic of Armenia.
Gevorg Kostanyan applied to the Russian Prosecutor General in compliance with Article 6 of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia on judicial and mutual legal assistance in issues linked with the presence of the Russian military base in the territory of Republic of Armenia.
