Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to hold first meeting in Moscow 6 February
The first meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Moscow on 6 February, press service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers informs.
Attending the meeting will be heads of government of Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting will consider a wide range of issues related to the integration agenda, the operation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the development of the legal framework and the implementation of projects in cooperation including in the innovation sector. The meeting will also consider Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the EEU.
“On 5 February, Russian Premier Dmitry Medvedev will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts,” the press service said.
