
Russian soldier charged with slaying seven in Gyumri will undergo a psychological and psychiatric examination. Doctors will assess his mental health.
“A number of forensic-criminal examinations are being conducted within the framework of the joint investigation. A psychological and psychiatric examination will also be conducted in the near future, as it is prescribed law in case of such crimes,” Interfax reports, quoting well-informed sources.
The agency notes also that all examinations will be carried out on the territory of the Russian military base #102 in Armenia.
According to Interfax, Valery Permyakov is defended by an Armenia-based Russian lawyer, whose name is not being disclosed.
