Hundreds of people gathered at St. Nshan Church in Gymri today to bid last farewell to Serzhozha Avetisyan, the six-month-old baby that died of wounds seven days after his family was slaughtered.
Six member of the Avetisyan family were murdered on Monday, January 12 by Russian soldier Velery Permyakov. Six-month-old Seryozha Avetisyan was sole servicer of the massacre, but his succumbed to injuries on January 19 at one of the Yerevan hospitals.
Russian and Armenian law-enforcement bodies have agreed to joinly investigate the case.
