On December 18, the International Migrants Day, the People in Need summed up the results of the journalist competition dedicated to issues of migration. Awards were handed to 17 journalists, including four representatives of Radiolur – the news program of Public Radio of Armenia.
The “Suitcase – 2014” contest aims to mobilize the potential of journalists form Yerevan and the regions to highlight issues of migration. Seventy-one applications were submitted at the 5th annual competition.
Hasmik Dilanyan, Alisa Gevorgyan and Armine Gevorgyan – all representing Radiolur – received the first, second and third prizes respectively in the “Best Radio Program.” Satik Isahakyan received a special prize.
