Kazakhstan will ratify the Treaty on Armenia’s accession the Eurasian Economic Union by December 23, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“Starting from January 1, 2015, the two nations will be cooperating as part of the Eurasian Economic Union. There has been a certain decrease in the bilateral trade in monetary terms; however, the physical amount has been on the rise. Once prices for commodities recover, the trade figures are set to change significantly for the better. Shared customs borders, freedom of movement of people and cargoes are a great benefit for people of the two nations”, President Nazarbayev said.
“We’ll meet in Moscow on December 23. We’ll ratify Armenia’s accession. Maybe, Kyrgyzstan will also be ready by that time,” Nazarbayev said, according to the official website of the Russian Government.
