Putin submits agreement on Armenia’s accession to EEU to the State Duma

Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted the Treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union to the State Duma.

The Agreement was signed by the Presidents of Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on October 10, 2014.

The accord is a basic document substantiating agreements between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on the terms of Armenia’s accession to the union and seeking to lay a legal basis for the union’s functioning.
