Within the framework of the working visit to Washington, Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan had a meeting with US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick, the Parliament’s Press Service reported.
During the meeting the parties discussed the latest developments in the region and issues related to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Ashot Ghulyan also met with Co-Chair of the Congressional Armenian Caucus Frank Pallone. The interlocutors discussed issues related to the expansion of cooperation between the UN Congress and the NKR National Assembly, the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, implementation of humanitarian programs.
Ashot Ghulyan briefed Rep, Pallone on the consequences of Azerbaijani provocation at the line of contact, and thanked the US Congressmen for statements condemning the downing of the helicopter of the NKR Air Force.
