The delegation headed by the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Yiannakis Omirou visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial accompanied by Vice-Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Edward Sharmazanov.
Yiannakis Omirou laid a wreath at the memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims with a minute of silence.
Deputy Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute (AGMI) Suren Manukyan briefed the guests on the history of construction of the memorial.
The Cyprus House President visited the AGMI, where he watched a temporary exhibition on the Armenian Genocide.
