On November 10, the participants of the Bishop’s Synod of the Armenian Aporstolic Holy Church visited the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial Complex.
The Synod is being convened from November 11 to 13 in the Mother See, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.
Catholicos of All Armenians and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia laid wreaths at the memorial, then in front of the eternal flame a memorial service was held; for the peace of the souls of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
On November 11-13, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, will preside over the opening of the Bishop’s Synod of the Armenian Church.
