ICRC representatives meet Azeri saboteurs who stand trial in Nagorno Karabakh

Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the two Azerbaijani citizens in Stepanakert.

It was the sixth visit, spokesman for the ICRC Baku Office Ilahe Huseynova told APA.

ICRC representatives informed the Azerbaijanis about their families.

Huseynova said the ICRC will continue the meetings with the hostages in accordance with its mandate, but refused to comment on the trial underway in Nagorno Karabakh.

“The ICRC is not a source of information about the trial”, Huseynova said.

Two Azeri citizens Shahbaz Guliyev andDilham Askerov are accused of illegally crossing the NKR border, illegally carrying weapons, kidnapping, killing a juvenile and attempting a murder on the national basis.

The third commando, Hasan Hasanov, was killed, and his body was handed over to Baku.

The actions of the subversive group left an underage resident of Karvachar region and a soldier killed and a woman wounded.
