Opera singer Arax Mansourian will give a concert at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts today dedicated to the 75th birthday of her brother – renowned composer Tigran Mansourian. She will be joined on the stage by her three students from Greece, China and Australia.
Arax Mansourian told reporters today that teaching Armenian to her students was not an easy task, as the language is a hard one. She added at the same time, that they would not be able to sing with soul without understanding the lyrics.
Mansourian and her students have been preparing for today’s concert since February. They plan to give another concert in Artsakh on October 18.
