Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan says he’s ready to assume the President’s post, if necessary. Tsarukyan made the statement at a joint press conference with the visiting President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach and President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey.
“I have 4-5 candidacies for presidency in my mind. All of them are deserving people, who can put this country on the track of development and solve the existing problems. If my political partners or the society nominates them, I’m ready to stand by them and offer my support. If my political partners find they need me at this hard moment and consider that I should be nominated, I’m ready for that,” he said.
Gagik Tsarukyan added that if he’s elected President, the urgent issues will be solved within months and the country will take the right path of development. He assured that it’s not just a promise.
