On October 6 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
Greeting the guest, Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia attaches importance to the cooperation within the framework of the CSTO as an important factor of security and assured that our country will maintain consistent efforts towards reinforcement of allied cooperation within the framework of the Organization.
The interlocutors discussed the process of implementation of the decisions made during the CSTO session in September 2013 and referred to the coordination of the foreign policies of the member states.
The parties emphasized the importance of reinforcement of cooperation mechanisms to ensure the security of state borders.
During the meeting reference was made to the preparation of the forthcoming sitting of the CSTO Statutory Bodies.
