Azerbaijan will ensure the Armenian delegation’s security in case it decides to participate in the First European Games, the Youth and Sports Minister of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov told reporters Sept. 24, Trend Agency reports.
He said the Azerbaijani side is also ready to solve the visa problems.
“We guarantee the provision of security and settlement of visa issues at the state level,” he said.
Armenia has not so far officially confirmed its participation in the First European Games.
The first ever European Games will take place between June 12 and June 28, 2015.
