For bravery shown during the defense of the NKR state border, Artsakh’s President Bako Sahakyan on September 18 signed a decree, posthumously awarding NKR Defense Army’s senior lieutenant Mher Hakobyan with the “For Service in Battle” medal, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President reported.
Armenian soldier Mher Hakobyan, born in 1990, was killed by the enemy’s bullet in one of the military units in the southern direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan this morning.
