Armenian POW Hakob Injighulyan sent to a third country

Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulyan, who was kept in Azerbaijani captivity since August 2013, has been handed over to a third country on August 26, reports, quoting Injighulyan’s brother Harutyun.

“He was sent on August 26, but we were learnt about it yesterday,” he said, adding that the family has not yet talked to Hakob.

The Armenian Office of the International Committee of the Red Crossed informed Injighulyan’s relatives about the move.

Remind that Hakob Injighulyan had mistakenly crossed the Azerbaijani border on August 8, 2013.
