On May 8, 2014, the CA Assembly passed the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic legislation by a resounding vote of 72-1. This was the first time such a measure was adopted in the history of the CA Legislature.
The resolution has now moved to the CA State Senate for consideration and is scheduled for a full floor vote on August 27, 2014.
The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) urges American Armenians to write to their CA Senator asking them to support full Senate passage of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Resolution (AJR 32), which encourages and supports the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh’s continuing efforts to develop as a free and independent nation.
