Armenia’s defense minister congratulates Armenian tankers on victory in “Tank Biathlon 2014” contest
The Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan congratulated the Armenian army personnel on the excellent results the Armenian tankers showed at the “Tank Biathlon 2014” international competition.
“August has shown the Armenian soldiers’ high efficiency both at the posts and in international arena. At the Alabino firing ground in the Moscow region, before the entire world, 19-20-year-old Armenian soldiers excellently performed extremely difficult tank driving and firing exercises, overcame various difficulties, and had the names of Armenia its army pronounced with great respect in allied armies.
“I express my gratitude to all of you for your skill and commitment. I am sure that the desire of each soldier of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia is to be like you and serve the Homeland as you do,” Mr Ohanyan’s congratulatory message says.
The Armenian team won the 2nd placeat the competition with the participation of 12 states, showing high morale and professional level.
