The ceasefire violations have decreased in frequency

Between August 10 night and August 11 morning, the Azerbaijani side again violated the ceasefire on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and with the use of rifle – including large caliber – weaponry.

Nonetheless, the ceasefire violations have decreased in frequency, as compared to previous days.

According to the operative data obtained, the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border 31 times from Sunday night to Monday morning. More than 600 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry.

The Armenian side, on the other hand, opened retaliatory fire six times, and 889 shots were fired at the adversary.

There are no injuries or casualties from the Armenian side.

The Armenian Armed Forces continue to confidently monitor the border situation, strictly adhere to the ceasefire, and take relevant actions solely in the case of targeted violations by the adversary.
