Earthquake hits Iran, felt in Armenia’s Meghri, Agarak

Today, magnitude 3,7 earthquake was recorded in Iran at 10:53 am local time, 28 km west of the city of Ahar. It measured 5 on the Richter scale in the epicenter, according to the Seismic Protection Service of Armenian Emergency Ministry.

The earthquake hypocenter was at a depth of 10 km. The tremors were also felt in the Armenian cities of Meghri and Agarak (Syunik region) measuring 2-3.
