Between August 7 and 8, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire 31 times on the Line of Contact with Armenia, the Armenian Defense Ministry reports. Over 4,000 shots were fired at Armenian front line positions from weapons of different calibers.
The Armenian side reacted by opening fire 5 times, with a total of 1,425 shots fired.
No casualties were reported on the Armenian side.
The Armenian forces keep the front line situation under control, observe the ceasefire and take adequate retaliatory measures only in cases of extreme necessity.
