On 30 June Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory letter to President Serzh Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia in connection with his 60th birthday. The letter runs as follows:
“Respected President Sargsyan,
On behalf of the Artsakh people, authorities and myself, I cordially congratulate You on the occasion of Your 60th birthday.
You stood at the origins of the Artsakh National Liberation Movement and have had a great contribution to the formation and development of the two Armenian countries, the creation of the Army and forging all our victories.
Holding at various times high positions in Artsakh and Armenia You have been entirely devoted to defending the interests of the native people, implementation of national goals and programs. This patriotic service deserves the highest appreciation.
I congratulate You once again on this jubilee and wish peace, robust health, long life and great successes to You, all your relatives and friends, strength and prosperity to our heroic people and Motherland”.
