Armenian Church to celebrate the Feast of Holy Etchmiadzin on June 22nd

This year, on June 22, the world-wide Armenian Apostolic Church and Armenian nation, will celebrate the Feast of the Universal Church of Holy Etchmiadzin. Divine Liturgy will be offered in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, starting at 11:00 a.m.

The annual celebration commemorates the founding and establishment of the mother cathedral of the Armenian people in 301 A.D.

Following the service, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians will offer a Pontifical Prayer at the Altar of Descent for the vibrancy and strength of the Mother See.
