The Azerbaijani side undertook an act of sabotage in the southern direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan the night of May 22. On May 21 an Armenian soldier was shot dead as a result of firing in the same direction.
The front divisions of the NKR Defense Army took relevant actions to rebuff the attack. According to preliminary data, at least three Azeri soldiers were wounded. The Defense Army incurred no losses.
Probe into the details of the case is under way. The front troops of the Defense Army currently keep the situation along the line of contact under control.
