Ambassador James Warlick outlined the U.S. policy and the well-established principles of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Spokesperson for the US Department of State Jen Psaki told a daily briefing.
The comments come after US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick presented the US position on the Karabakh conflict in a speech delivered at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
“As you know, the United States is co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group. Ambassador Warlick gave a speech at the Carnegie Endowment, in which he outlined U.S. policy and the well-established principles that will serve as the foundation of a peaceful settlement. I don’t believe it was meant to announce anything new other than to reiterate what our longstanding position is and our commitment to this process.”
