The regular sitting of the Inter-Church Council of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin was convened on April 12. The participants referred to the adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
On this occasion the Inter-Church Council has addressed a letter to Robert Menendez, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.
The letter specially emphasizes the adoption of the measure on the threshold of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and underlines that it will promote the establishment of peace in the world, prevention and condemnation of crimes against humanity.
