A number of Slovakian and Bulgarian businessmen are going to make investments in Armenia and Artsakh, President of the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe (FAAE) Ashot Grigorayn told reporters today.

“Although no investment agreement has been signed between Armenia and Slovakia, European businessmen are ready to invest €50 mln for the construction of a hydro power plant in Artsakh.

Ashot Grigoryan says the first steps in this direction have been made, although Azerbaijani reacted to the fact on the highest level and created a number of obstacles for the European businessmen.

Speaking about the Armenian Genocide, Grigoryan said Turkey fears Armenia will unite efforts and apply all measures to further the recognition process ahead of the genocide centenary.
