In a Facebook post Tigran Sargsyan has thanked everyone he has worked with and wished success to the new government. The message reads:
“Dear compatriots,
In February I asked President Serzh Sargsyan to accept my resignation. It was a mature and deeply thought-out decision. We agreed to postpone the resignation out of the necessity to hold a number of important state events and the Economic Congress of the Republican Party of Armenia. I express my gratitude to all people I have worked with and first of all the President of the republic for entrusting me with the high post of the Prime Minister. I wish a devoted and effective work to the new government.”
