Armenian President meets Czech Ambassador

Today the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Tomas Pernicky presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan, President’s Press Office reported.

The president congratulated the newly appointed ambassador and wished him success in implementing his diplomatic mission in our country. Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Pernicky hailed the dynamically developing relations between the two countries. They considered Serzh Sargsyan’s January state visit to the friendly Czech Republic and the arrangements made as a result of the negotiations as an illustration of those dynamic relations.

The interlocutors discussed the opportunities and potential to develop cooperation in trade and commercial, cultural and other spheres stressing the importance of interparliamentary and intergovernmental cooperation, as well as active collaboration and the reinforcement of ties between Armenian and Czech business communities.

The President of Armenia expressed hope that both the ambassadors of the two countries in turn will do their best to maintain and continually develop the aforementioned dynamics of the Armenian-Czech relations, as well as to expand the cooperation in mutually beneficial spheres.
