Film on French TV refers to Armenian Genocide

In the evening of March 18, the French public television channel “France 2” aired a documentary about the First World War.

Two minutes in the film were devoted to the Armenian Genocide of 1915, Jean Eckian informs from Paris.

The commentator explains in the film that “the Turkish interior minister, Enver Pasha, wrote a genocide order. The government decided to annihilate all Armenians in Turkey, regardless of their gender and age.”

The program was watched by 5.88 million people.
