The Russian Cabinet of Ministers on Friday approved the agreement on the development of military-technical cooperation with Armenia, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the official website of the Russian Government. The agreement will now be forwarded to the Russian President for ratification.
The agreement envisages establishment of favorable conditions for the cooperation of the parties in the development, production, exploitation, repairing and modernization, as well as recycling of weapons and military equipment.
The Armenian National Assembly had voted to ratify the agreement in December 2013.
