The Armenian National Committee of America urges to help stop Azerbaijani dictator Ilham Aliyev’s attempt to export his anti-Armenian hatred to South Dakota by opposing HCR 1020, currently under consideration in the State House.
“HCR 1020, a profoundly biased and factually incorrect resolution, reference events in Khojaly, Azerbaijan without any reference to the Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian pogroms in Sumgait, Baku and Kirovabad and remains silent on Azerbaijan’s ongoing aggression against Armenia and Karabakh today,” ANCA said.
HCR 1020 was introduced on Friday, February 21st – and appears to be fast-tracked by the South Dakota House Leadership, which means a full House vote can come as early as Monday, February 24th.
