According to an agreement reached between the Football Federation of Armenia and Russia, the national football teams of the two countries will play a friendly at Krasnodar’s “Kuban” stadium on March 5. Russia is currently 22nd in FIFA ranking of national teams, Armenia is 38th in the list.
The national teams of the two countries have played four official matches so far. Russia won both games of the qualification round of Euro-2000. The Euro-2012 qualifier in Yerevan ended a draw (0-0), while Russia won the return match in Moscow (3-1).
Remind that on June 6 Armenia will play Germany ranked No. 2 in the world.
