Sirusho nominated for World Music Awards 2014

Sirusho has been nominated for World Music Awards 2014, becoming the first Armenian artist ever nominated for the Awards, according to the singer’s Facebook page.

Founded in 1989 under the High Patronage of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, the World Music Awards honors the world’s best-selling artists in various categories and to the best-selling artists from each major territory.

The awards show is broadcast to North and South America, all of Europe, the Middle East, Japan and Southeast Asia, all of China, India, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and all of Africa, reaching an estimated worldwide audience of one billion viewers in over 160 countries.

Sirusho is represented in three nominations:

World’s Best Female Artist

World’s Best Song (PreGomesh)

World’s Best Video (PreGomesh)

Voting is underway on the official webpage of the World Music Awards. 

Sirusho represented Armenia at Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and came 4th in the competition.
