Iran, Armenia to hold joint consular, border commission meeting

The 10th session of the joint consular, border and customs commission of Iran and Armenia will start work in Tehran today, Tansim News Agency reports.

The commission will be held in the Iranian capital on January 13-14.

During the meeting, the Iranian and Armenian officials are scheduled to study the memorandum of understanding (MoU) previously signed by the two sides and explore ways for further expanding bilateral interactions.

Other topics to be addressed in the joint commission include facilitating the visits by the two countries’ citizens and visa requirement, customs and border services.
