Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian offered a speech on Armenian foreign policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
Minister Nalbandian briefed the diplomats on the agreements on the development of Armenian-Peruvian relations reached as a result of meetings in Lima, the perspectives of bilateral cooperation, Armenia’s interaction with the Latin American and other regions, Armenia’s stance on a number of international and regional issues.
The Foreign Minister presented in detail the efforts of Armenia and the international community towards the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, underlining that Armenia will continue to work with the Minsk Group co-chairing countries to further the process of exceptionally peaceful resolution of the issue.
Minister Nalbandian noted that the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are expected to meet in Paris later this month.
