Kerry, Davutoglu discuss Armenia visit

US Secretary of State John Kerry and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu discussed the latter’s forthcoming visit to Armenia in a telephone conversation, TRT reports.

Davutoglu is arriving in Armenia tomorrow to attend the Black Sea Economic Cooperation meeting in Yerevan.

Within this context, efforts and initiatives for regional peace and stability in the Caucasus were also taken up by the foreign ministers.

The Cyprus issue, Syria and the situation in the Caucasus were the major subjects they took up.

The latest stage in the negotiations process due to be started by the leaders in Cyprus and the developments on the ground in Syria and the preparations for Geneva-2 were discussed.
