A two stamped souvenir sheet was cancelled and put into circulation on December 2nd 2013, dedicated to the XXII Winter Olympic Games 2014 to be held in Sochi.
The solemn cancellation ceremony was carried out at Gyumri Drama Theater after V. Achemyan by President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Serzh Sargsyan and President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin.
The stamps depict the sports which will feature Armenian representatives at Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games: cross-country skiing on the first stamp and Alpine skiing on the second one.
The left side of the S-sheet represents Sochi mountains.
