Armenia, EU to adopt joint declaration

Armenia and the European Union will adopt a joint declaration on the reforms implemented in the country over the past years, Press Secretary of the Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly Edward Sharmazanov said upon the conclusion of the meeting of the RPA Executive Body. The document will also consolidate the fact that Armenia will continue the cooperation with the EU, he added.

According to Sharmazanov, President Serzh Sargsyan’s participation in the Vilnius summit testifies to the fact that Armenia continues the political dialogue with European partners. He stressed that Armenia’s policy stems from the interests of the country and the authorities are decisive to continue the implementation of joint reforms.
